Welcome to StoryToSong. By accessing our website and purchasing our custom songwriting services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Services

StoryToSong provides custom songwriting and production services based on user-submitted stories and preferences. We deliver digital goods (MP3, WAV, and MP4 Video files) via email.

2. Ownership & Copyright

This is the most important part of our agreement regarding Intellectual Property:

• Client Ownership: Upon full payment and delivery of the final product, you (the Client) are granted 100% copyright ownership of the song. You have the right to distribute, sell, stream (Spotify, Apple Music), and use the song for commercial purposes royalty-free.
• Portfolio License: By purchasing, you grant StoryToSong a non-exclusive, perpetual license to display the work in our portfolio (website, social media, YouTube) for promotional purposes. If you wish for your song to remain private, please contact us immediately after ordering.

3. Payments & Pricing

All payments are processed securely through third-party providers (PayPal/Stripe).

• "Pay What You Want": For limited-time promotional offers where the price is set by the user, the transaction is considered final once the payment is completed.
• Currency: All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

4. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of custom digital products, we do not offer refunds once the production process has begun. The production process begins immediately after we receive your story details.

Exceptions: A full refund will be issued ONLY if:

• We fail to deliver the product within 7 days of the order.
• There is a technical error where payment was charged but the order was not received.

We do not offer refunds based on "creative differences" or personal taste, as music is subjective. However, we strive for satisfaction and will ensure the song matches the mood and genre requested.

5. User Content & Conduct

You agree not to submit stories or requests that contain:

• Hate speech, racism, or discrimination.
• Illegal acts or promotion of violence.
• Defamatory material against real persons.

StoryToSong reserves the right to refuse any order that violates these standards. In such cases, a full refund will be issued immediately.

6. Delivery

We aim to deliver all standard orders within 24-48 hours. However, during high-demand periods, delivery may take up to 5 business days. You will be notified via email regarding any delays.

7. Limitation of Liability

StoryToSong shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the service.
